Welcome to HoldMyBill. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the HoldMyBill mobile application, website, and related services available at www.holdmybill.com
By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the service.
1. Overview of the Service
HoldMyBill provides a platform that allows users to store and organize purchase records and product ownership information.
The service enables users to:
- Upload receipts, invoices, and purchase documents
- Store product ownership details
- Track warranties and maintenance records
- Organize product related documents in one place
HoldMyBill acts as a digital storage and organization tool for personal product documentation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
By using HoldMyBill you represent that:
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
- The information you provide is accurate and truthful
- You will use the service in accordance with applicable laws
3. User Accounts
To use certain features you may be required to create an account.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Keeping your account information accurate and up to date
You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. User Content
Users may upload and store content including:
- Receipts
- Invoices
- Product photos
- Warranty documents
- Maintenance records
You retain ownership of the content you upload.
By uploading content you grant HoldMyBill permission to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
We do not claim ownership over your uploaded documents.
5. Responsibility for Uploaded Content
You are responsible for the documents and information you upload.
By uploading content you confirm that:
- You have the right to upload the content
- The content does not violate any law or third party rights
- The content does not contain illegal or harmful material
HoldMyBill does not verify the authenticity or legality of uploaded documents.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Upload unlawful or fraudulent documents
- Violate the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
- Disrupt or interfere with the operation of the service
- Upload malicious code or harmful software
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The service may occasionally be unavailable due to:
- maintenance
- infrastructure updates
- technical issues
We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
8. Data Storage and Security
HoldMyBill stores user uploaded documents and account data using secure cloud infrastructure.
While we implement reasonable safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Users should maintain copies of important documents outside the platform.
9. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account from the application settings.
When an account deletion request is submitted, the account will be placed in a deactivation state. During this period the account and associated data are scheduled for permanent deletion.
The deactivation period lasts up to 30 days. If you sign back into your account during this period, the deletion request will be cancelled and the account will be restored.
If the account is not reactivated within the 30 day period, the account and associated documents will be permanently removed from the service, subject to limited operational backups and legal obligations.
10. Intellectual Property
All software, design, and platform components of HoldMyBill are owned by HoldMyBill or its licensors.
You may not:
- copy
- modify
- distribute
- reverse engineer
- create derivative works
without prior written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
HoldMyBill provides a document storage and organization service.
The platform does not guarantee:
- warranty eligibility
- acceptance of stored documents by manufacturers
- legal validity of stored receipts or invoices
Users remain responsible for maintaining official records and verifying warranty conditions with manufacturers or sellers.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoldMyBill shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- you violate these Terms of Use
- your use poses a security risk to the platform
- required by law or regulation
You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
If significant changes are made we will update the date at the top of this page and may notify users within the application.
Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
14. Purchases and Billing
HoldMyBill offers optional paid features. These optional features may include additional item capacity to store more products and documents.
Purchases are platform-specific and may only be made through the respective platform's application. Content, subscriptions, or features acquired on other platforms may be accessed within the app provided they are also available as in-app purchases within the app. Purchases made on one platform do not transfer to other platforms.
14.1 iOS (Apple App Store) Purchases
Purchases within the iOS application are processed exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles all payment processing, billing, and refunds for iOS purchases. Purchases made within the iOS application are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and follow Apple's billing policies.
You may restore eligible purchases using the restore function within the app.

14.2 Android (Google Play) Purchases
Purchases within the Android application are processed through Google Play. Google handles all payment processing, billing, and refunds for Google Play purchases.

14.3 Web Purchases
Purchases made through the web application are processed through the web platform's payment system.
Optional paid features are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the applicable platform provider's refund policy.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
